2. Simple past tense
(+) S + was/ were + v3 + by + object

Contoh:(+) This book was lent by him.
(-) This book was not lent by him.
(?) Was this book lent by him?
3. Present Continuous tense
(+) S + to be + being + v3 + by + object
(-) S + to be + being + v3 +by + object
(?) to be + S + being + v3 + by + object
Contoh:(+) This book is being lent by him.
(-) This book is not being lent by him.
(?) Is this book being lent by him?
4. Present Future tense

5. Present Perfect tense

Contoh – contoh di atas adalah
penjelasan kalimat pasif (passive voice) dalam bahasa inggris. Memang tidak
saya cantumkan semua bentuk tenses nya, tetapi sudah saya berikan secara garis
besar nya, sedangkan untuk tenses yang lain tinggal melihat contoh di atas dan
di sesuaikan dengan tenses yang di perlukan.
Catatan :
Kalimat yang bisa dipasifkan hanyalah kalimat yang memiliki objek (verb
nya berupa verb transitif).
Jika kalimat tersebut memiliki 2 buah objek (direct object dan indirect
object), maka bisa kita pilih salah satu untuk dijadikan subjek.
Kalau subjek dalam kalimat aktif adalah seseorang yang masih belum
jelas, maka dalam bentuk pasif nya boleh tidak dicantumkan objeknya.
